SEND Monitoring Details
Each setting will have an overview list showing any children in the setting that have been identified with SEND.
- To add a child’s details to the list the setting will need parental consent, then a record can be kept of concerns or reports from external agencies.
- The overview shows that settings are monitoring the child’s progress and development
- The list should be reviewed regularly (at least every six weeks) to make sure that all details are up to date. A child’s name can be removed from the list if there are no longer concerns about their learning and development. The list is a working document and will reflect the fluid nature of the child’s developmental needs.
