Vocational training providers offer work based vocational training in many different areas; they may also offer Functional Skills. Students will need to contact them to see what training is available and for an application form.
Landau
Landau offers a combination of Study programmes and supported Internships designed to support young people.
A Study Programme is an initiative which aims to individualise all learners' education and training experience, whilst enhancing their employment opportunities, designed to complement all learner pathways (both vocational and academic).
The Landau Learning environment is a safe space to develop and grow, it is a stepping stone onto a desired destination. We take learners from 16 – 18 and up to 25 with an EHCP and support them in gaining essential qualifications and independence to enable them to progress in a positive way.
Our approach is focused on person centred learning within safe and practical work-related environments with a friendly and experienced team of staff and business partners.
The programme is made up of various elements depending on their chosen pathway – These could include -

- Vocational Courses
- Work Experience
- Careers Advice
- Next steps support
We support young people in small groups to achieve their aspirations and overcome any barriers to learning. We have extensive experience working with learners with Education Health Care Plans. Our programmes are developed so young people have full lives with choices about their future and control of their support.

Nova Training
Our high needs programme is available for anyone aged 16-24 and the course runs in conjunction with our Study Programme. The focus is around developing skills and undertaking qualifications in English, Maths, ICT and Employability.
Our exceptionally skilled and dedicated team of Tutors and Additional Learning Support staff work with every individual to identify the support strategies required to meet a range of specific barriers to learning, in order to identify the best possible route to succeed.
We offer dedicated opportunities to study in a 1:1 or small group environment and support you as an individual at all times. Our dedicated team have years of experience of working with individuals with a range of support needs and we strive to support you to become independent and prepare for adulthood; achieving qualifications both accredited & non-accredited using our RARPA Model which includes Travel Training, Employability Skills, Community Projects, Work Experience, Money Management and much more.
We focus on the individual in all we do, we will work with you, at your level, at your pace, in your time and all of our efforts are focussed on enabling you to become more independent and see what your future holds for you. We will begin the journey together and set out how you will get there; whether it is a Supported Internship, Supported Apprenticeship or an Apprenticeship in a range of industries, we can support you to achieve these aims.

Juniper Training
Juniper Training in Telford offer a 28 week study programme for students aged 16-19 and 19+ with an EHCP. We offer the following pathways -
- BTEC Workskills Certificate
- BTEC Workskills Award
- Introduction to Childcare
- Customer Service
The study programme also includes Maths and English at either GCSE or functional skills (depending on prior attainment).
Students will also take part in work experience within their chosen career path, help is then provided to progress the students onto apprenticeships or further education.
We have also filmed a short tour video in first person view to show the tour from a learner perspective.

Coaching Connexions

With regards to the SEN provision, we would not be able to offer TA support for students but we will offer smaller group sizes and additional one to one support on a weekly basis for students with additional needs.
