Secondary Specialist Provision Hubs
Southall Telford Langley Specialist Hub opened in 2022. The hub focusses on KS3 & 4 pupils, ensuring that young people can transition through their secondary journey within a hub if needed. Young people are on roll at Southall School but attend the hub provision in the mainstream school setting.
The purpose of the hub is to provide opportunity for children with SEND to be included in a mainstream environment alongside their peers. Therefore, the hub is an adapted classrooms within the school building. How much time a young person spends in the hub will be dependent upon the child’s needs and their response to inclusion opportunities. To promote the ethos that they are part of the school in which they attend, young people will wear the uniform of the mainstream setting.
