Activities & Events
The Activities & Events page is a quick and easy place for families to see what is going on in their community. Take look at the pages below to find art, dance, drama, music, clubs & activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Finding something they love to do after school or in the holidays can help children and young people with additional needs to see that we’re all good at different things.
Clubs and activities mean children and young people can meet peers with similar interests and maybe make some friends. Becoming part of a group or a member of a team can do wonders for their confidence and social skills.
Short Breaks
Short breaks provide invaluable support for eligible disabled children and young people up to the age of 18 and their families. Children are given opportunities to become more independent, have fun, enjoy new experiences, form friendships with their peers; their families are able to take time out to recharge their batteries
